You are finally resting and with the loved ones you missed so dearly for so many years. Rest in the beautiful place that our Lord Jesus Christ has prepared for you and may you forever sing with the Angels in heaven. You were truly special. You will be missed by many and Loved by all!

Didn’t know My Sweet Friend was sick, So So Sorry ♥I Loved Her very much, We had a great relationship until we both got older and had some Serious Illnesses. She will be missed. Prayers for All Her Family and Friends. No more pain and suffering. RIP

Bernice's Obituary

 

Mrs. Bernice Stroud Rohr, 82, widow of Charles Rohr, of Mullins, died Friday, January 23, 2026, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence following an extended period of declining health.

Bernice was born on May 13, 1943, in Marion County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late A.B. Stroud and the late Sallie Emanuel Stroud. She was a retired Hospice Care worker, who enjoyed gardening, flowers, talking on the phone and attending church. She was a member of Christian Faith Baptist Church.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Mark) Gore of Nichols, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Turner and Stacy (Brandon) Stroud; her great grandchildren: Kaylee Bernice Strickland, Kylee Turner, Carlee Turner, Blakelynn Dozier, Kason Turner, Remington Ford, and Weslynn Stroud; her brother, Robert (Mary) Stroud of Ravenel, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Bernice was predeceased by her two sons, Terry Lee Turner and Greg Turner; sister, Alice Juanita Stroud; and brother, Abron Jack Stroud.

A visitation will be held Monday evening, January 26, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

Services will follow Tuesday, January 27, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Reverend Dale Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Church Cemetery in Nichols, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
