Bernie Zikos

I know that Bernie never talked about me but in my heart he was a loving brother. I have missed him so much since he moved to NC all those years ago. We would talk occasionally then years drifted by. I did get to talk by phone to him in the past year. Bernie you will be missed. I have always love you. But you are home and no more pain or suffering in this life. Your sister Laverne Rohr

I am sad to see this. Berniw and Jean were very special to me when they lived in Raleigh. I was Jeans nurse for such a long time but became a friend to both of them taking holiday meals to them and visiting with my then young children. Bernie and I stayed in touch for years after his move and then I lost touch. He was a fine man and will be missed.

I have known Mr. Bernie for a long time, He was a wonderful and caring man. I know he will be missed. He was always joking around, he had a love for animals and was always ready to help when needed. We love you Mr. Bernie. RIP until we meet again.

It is with great sadness that read today of Bernie’s passing. He was a great Christian. He walked the talk. He was always there when anyone needed a hand. He always had a smile for everyone. This world was truly enriched by his presence. Thank you Bernie. Rest in peace with Jean Marie.
