I am very lucky to be Berta's daughter-in-law. She was a very giving mother to me and a lovely person. I am honored to know her.

Berta and Sherwood's house was like a second home for me when I was growing up in Groton and playing sports with their sons Heinz and Claus. I'm glad to see that she lived a long life. My condolences to the family.
