Bertram Martin “Marty” McCall Sr.  

February 9, 1944-October 6, 2025

Marty McCall, age 81, passed away at his home on October 6, 2025.  He was born in Charlotte NC, and his family moved to Dade County, Florida.  Marty spent his career working in construction and dairy farming.   He and his wife Helen moved to Sebring in June 1986, where he worked at Triple G Dairy for twenty years. Marty enjoyed fishing and caring for animals.

Raised in the Methodist Church, Marty converted to Catholicism in 1996. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, FL.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents Claude R. McCall and Evelyn Wilhelm McCall; wife Helen Alma Russell McCall; and children Bertram Martin McCall Jr., and Lori Beth McCall.

 Marty is survived by his siblings Steven Ray McCall of Margate, FL; James McCall of Clewiston, FL and sister Deborah Ann McCall Tidrick of Columbus, Ohio; Cousin Toni Hunt of Ft. Myers, FL.; Children Anthony (Nora) McCall, Martina (Rick) Goller, Sheri (Jeff) Villone. Grandchildren Christopher Villone, Owen McCall, Tiffany (Austin) McElwain, and great grandchild, Kanan McElwain.

Cremation services are entrusted to Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL.  Memorial Mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM in the chapel.
