Not sure what to say?

My heart is sad at the passing of my sweet friend but also rejoicing in the fact that Betty is now with her Lord and Savior, walking on the streets of Gold, and a perfectly healed body. I am blessed that I was able to know her and share that beautiful smile she always had. Ms. Betty, you are so loved and will be greatly missed by all. Until we meet again, love you!

Sharon, Robin and your family, my prayers are with you all. A beautiful legacy of love for her Lord and love for...

Mrs. Betty was a dear friend to me and my Grandson Jacob Epps. She was always smiling and we both loved her dearly. When she left Mullins, Jacob gave her a white teddy bear and every time she wrote us she said she was sleeping with that teddy bear. She will be a cherished part of our memories.

She’s happy with God in Heaven !

I'm hurt of hearing about Miss Betty's passing. Prayers goes out to the family... I remember her and Mr.Charlie well. They were the kindest ppl. I adored them. I came to know them from Woodlawn Park Baptist Church... She was always smiling. And giving hugs, May God bless her family during this time of grief.....

We are sorry to hear the passing of Betty Beck. She was such a kind hearted lady and always fun to talk and joke with as her husband Charlie was too. Her and Charlie were faithful participants in our nursing home ministry at 4 nursing homes. Our sympathy goes out to Betty's family.

Joe "Buddy" Rogers

She was the best MaMa Betty there ever was. She will be missed!

Betty's Obituary

Mrs. Betty Floyd Beck, 90, widow to the late Charles Lindberg Beck, Sr., formerly of Mullins, passed away after a period of declining health, with her family at her side, while at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, North Carolina, on August 25, 2025.

Ms. Betty was born in Marion County, South Carolina on July 27, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Tate Floyd, Sr. and the late Lillie Mae Phillips Floyd. Mrs. Beck was a graduate of Mullins High School and was employed as an Executive Secretary with the Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Company. She loved Jesus first and foremost; every morning she prayed and did her Bible study coffee in hand. She was a member of Gapway Baptist Church. She loved puzzles and loved how fast she finished them, but most of all she loved her family, and we love and miss her so much.

Mrs. Beck is survived by her daughters Sharon Goguen and her husband, Glenn of New Bern, NC and Robin Roberts and her husband, Mead, of Grantsboro, NC; her grandchildren, Sami Goguen. Kristen (Shawn) Roberts, and Ciara (Blake) Phillips; her great grandchildren: Tenley Boone, Zaydon Boone, Whyatt Phillips, and Sutton Phillips; and her very special niece, Carolyn Causey Smith (CC) and her children, Hayden Jake and Callie Reese Smith.

Mrs. Beck was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Tate Floyd, Jr. and Tommy Floyd, and a sister, Annette Causey.
