Betty's Obituary

Betty Jean Lemons, 95, of Blanchard, died Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Tecumseh.  The daughter of Eugene W. White and Ruthie Lee (Dodd) White, she was born March 20, 1930, in Blanchard.

Betty married Vernon H. Lemons on May 13, 1954, in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard.  In her spare time, Betty enjoyed watching baseball and going dancing.  She worked at various jobs throughout her life and also ironed clothes for many people.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Lemons; one son, Tony Lemons; a daughter-in-law, Jeannie Dian Lemons; two sons-in-law, Gary Webb and Mike Bond; a grandson, Gary Don Graham; five sisters, Georgie, Gladys, Bell, Bert, and Ann; and four brothers, Rueben, John, Linard, and Charlie.  

Betty is survived by one son, Tom Lemons of Norman; three daughters, Darlene Graham and husband, Steve, of Arkansas, Dianna Webb and Carol Bond, both of Blanchard; eight grandchildren, Jana Atkins and husband James, of Arkansas, Shandy Goss and husband, Tim, of Arkansas, Rendi Roberson of Blanchard, Mandi Schneringer and husband, Kirt, of Blanchard, Matt Bond of Blanchard, Monica Lowden of Norman, Justin Lemons and wife, Amber, of Hawaii, and Josh Lemons and wife, Jackie, of Delaware; fourteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.  Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
