Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Betty in the Jaycee Bees in the 70’s when we were in the women’s auxiliary to the Jaycees (men only at that time). We were a group of 60+ wives working on our own philanthropy projects like lunch with Santa, Miss Mundelein pageant, and our yearly spring fashion show at The Country Squire. Plus we worked with our husbands (like Betty did with Joe) on all the Mundelein Memorial Day and July 4th parades; and the chicken dinners the men grilled behind...

I have such great memories of Mrs Luckow. I was great friends with her youngest son Al and spent a lot of time at their house from Middle through High School. She always treated me like family and I loved talking to her and eating whatever food she was ready to give me. Her birds were a constant and it's great that she always had them around her throughout her life. My mom even played volleyball with her in the 70's. I have nothing but the fondest memories of her and wish my friend Al and his...

I'm at the at the Regent center as we both took an exercise class three days a week. She was such fun and made great bird impressions whistling she had lots of Betty Boop shirts to wear. Occasionally, I would pick up birdseed for her at the hardware store, it was on sale. She lived along full life she will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Betty was such a wonderful person. I danced with her at Sundance and the Regent Center. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend her services. My husband and I are out of town.

So sorry to hear about Betty's passing. She was one very sweet lady. She loved her birds so much.

Very very sad to hear my friend " Betty Boop" has moved on. I loved her and had quite fun calling Bingo for her. Her calling out "Betty Ready" was our signal to start the games on Wednesday. She was funny and I will miss her.

Betty was an amazing woman! She was always smiling and whistling. She was a great example to all who knew her, especially in her line dance class. Rest in peace Betty. Your Regent Center grinds will miss you.
