Not sure what to say?

My beautiful Aunt Bev she was my person growing up. She helped shape me to be the kind, caring person I am today. I will always be grateful to have had her in my life!
We all loved her and spent so much time with her as children. Our families were very close more like siblings instead of cousins.
We love you all and we will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace and comfort now that she is back with her beloved husband, dear Uncle Francis.
Love and prayers to you all

My precious cousin Bev. You were such an inspiration to me growing up. You were one classy lady dressed in your mid-length skirt, jacket & heels. I enjoyed babysitting all of her & fran's kids. I loved your Mother & have always remembered her with the highest of respects. Love & thoughts to her family.

To Todd, Randy and the rest of Beverly’s family, you have my deepest sympathies on your loss. I know she meant a lot to all of you. I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you shared, and strength in each other during this difficult time. My love and thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom Cindy and Family
You’re all in our thoughts and prayers

Beverly was a good friend to my mom at Samaritan Summit. Early on, they talked about family, life and politics while sitting outside their rooms. She's missed. RIP, Beverly.

I have not seen Bev in a long time, but I sure remember her. She was one of the sweetest most kind people I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life. My heart aches for all of her family and friends to lose such an amazing person. Sending much love hugs and prayers to you all. Love Marlynne

To the entire extended DeMar family. I am sad to hear about the passing of Beverly. My heart and thoughts go out to everyone. She was a tremendous lady and one of the nicest people I was lucky to know. My many memories of good times will always be cherished.

Karen, Randy, Cindy, and all family, Fred and I send our condolences and prayers on the loss of your mother. May she rest in peace.

Beverly was a friend of our mother Arlene Tracy. Our mom enjoyed her company on a daily basis and she was already sadly missed when Beverly moved. May she rest in peace and condolences to her family. The children of Arlene Tracy

Obituary

Beverly's Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Eunice DeMar announce the passing of our beloved matriarch on October 31, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County. Beverly passed peacefully at the age of 94 while surrounded by her adoring family.

Born Beverly Eunice Netto on August 3, 1931 in Watertown, New York, she was the eldest daughter of Francis and Leona (Dailey) Netto. She was educated locally and attended Watertown High School.

Beverly married the love of her life, Francis R. DeMar, on May 1, 1949 at Saint Anthony's Church in Watertown. Together with her husband, Beverly raised seven children: Cynthia (James) Lee, Redwood; Karen (Bruce) Beach, Collins Landing; Lynn (Dennis) Parker, Watertown; Susan (Jerry) Corbett, Keesville; Lori DeMar, Watertown; Randy DeMar, Watertown, and Todd DeMar, Evans Mills. Beverly is survived by her sister Donna (Netto) Amedeo, South Pine, N.C. as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

To Beverly, family was everything and she dedicated her life to them, her many friends, her church, and her community. A friend to all, everyone was welcome in her home, and everyone had value and worth to her; she could find the good in anyone. Beverly was a true giver who made constant sacrifices in her own life to make the life of others better, and she did.

When her children were young, Beverly was a Scout-leader and was active in many activities. She was a member of the Italian American Civic Club and the Elks Lodge. She liked to garden and do crafts, enjoyed cooking and baking, loved cats, and enjoyed doing anything with her family.

Beverly will be reunited in heaven with her Husband, Francis, her parents Francis and Leona, her brothers James and Davis and her grandson Keith DeMar who all pre-deceased her.

Arrangements are with Reed and Benoit Funeral Home in Watertown. Services for Beverly will be held on Friday, November 7 at Saint Anthony's Church at 10:30 with burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Following the services, a reception will be held at the Italian American Civic Association, 192 Bellow Ave.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in her honor, can be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, who provided loving and compassionate care to her during her brief stay there. We are sincerely grateful to them and to the many special people who cared for her while a resident at Samaritan Summit Village.
