Beverly's Obituary

Beverly H. Gilliland, 82, of New Egypt passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 at CenterState Medical Center in Freehold, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Hamilton High School North and worked as a secretary for the State of New Jersey in the Human Resources Department. A woman of strong faith, she was a member of the Cookstown United Methodist Church, and a former member of the New Egypt Elks. She enjoyed cooking and reading, and above all she loved spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late Garrett and Elizabeth Beukema, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Gilliland Jr; her son, Gary Alloway; her daughter, Dawn Wasilewski, and her brother, George Beukema.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Terry Alloway; her daughter-in-law, Joan Alloway; her son-in-law, David Wasilewski; her sister-in-law, Joyce Beukema; her grandchildren, Karen, Greg and his wife Jenny, Kristin and her husband Dan, Kimberly, Samantha and her husband Dennis, Jamie Lee, Gary Jr, Amanda and her husband Fabian, Taylor and partner Randy, David Jr., and Chris; several great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family

Funeral service will be held 12 noon on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main St., Allentown. Friends may call from 10am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
