Beverly Ann Medeiros, 81, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Modesto, California. Born on April 26, 1944, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Beverly lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
On March 16, 1963, at the age of 18, Beverly married the love of her life, Roger Medeiros. Together they built a beautiful life in Gustine, California—a home filled with warmth and joy. Their shared passions included cheering on their children during high school sports events, camping under the stars, hunting and fishing in the great outdoors, and spending weekends exploring yard sales for hidden treasures.
Beverly and Roger raised three beloved children: Karen Medeiros, Roger Medeiros Jr., and Eric Medeiros. Her family was her pride and joy. She found immense happiness in being a grandmother to seven grandchildren Alexandria, Tristen, Trent, Saige, Kevin, Ethan, and Haylee Medeiros each of whom brought light into her life.
Known affectionately as “Nana,” Beverly had a vibrant personality that left an impression on everyone she met. Her quick wit and funny remarks were matched only by her radiant smile. Whether she was watching her favorite LMN movies or dominating family Wii bowling tournaments where she proudly held the record, she brought energy and laughter to every room.
She also had a deep love for animals. Her two dogs, Tootsie and Hehe, were constant companions who brought her comfort and joy. She delighted in listening to the cheerful songs of her granddaughters’ birds—a simple pleasure that reflected her appreciation for life’s small wonders.
Beverly was preceded in death by many dear family members: her mother Mary Ann Dias; her father Robert Kitchen; her husband Roger Medeiros; her son Roger Medeiros Jr.; her sisters Jackie and Juliet; her brother Ricky; and her twin brother Robert “Bobby” Dias.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Medeiros; son Eric Medeiros and his wife Denise; and seven grandchildren who will carry forward the legacy of love she so generously gave.
Beverly’s memory will live on through those who knew and loved her. Her humor, strength, and unwavering devotion to family will never be forgotten.
May her memory bring comfort to all whose lives she touched.
