I have such fond memories of time spent at the Terwilliger home — swimming in the pond, sharing meals, and always being met with kindness and warmth. Bev was such a sweet presence in my life as a child and teen, and I loved our conversations. Her love for the Lord shone through in everything she did, especially in her faithful service at Richfield Church of the Nazarene. I'm grateful for the friendship our families shared and for the example she set. She will be deeply missed.

In Loving Memory of
Beverly Terwilliger
July 3, 1937 – October 20, 2025
“Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.”
Beverly Terwilliger, age 88, of Otisville, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday October 24, 2025 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Otisville, MI 48463 with Pastor Craig Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Smith-Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Beverly’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Beverly was born on July 3, 1937, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Grace V. (Phillips) Thurlow. She spent most of her life in the Otisville area, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and faith. On December 23, 1955, she married the love of her life, Robert Lee Terwilliger, at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene. They shared nearly 49 years together before his passing on December 1, 2004.
Beverly was a quiet soul who found peace in the simple things—curling up with a good book, enjoying a cup of coffee, and spending time with the family she adored. Her happiest moments were those surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and joy.
She is survived by her beloved children: Dave Terwilliger, Doug (Janet) Terwilliger, Dennis (Cheryl) Terwilliger, Don (Shelley) Terwilliger, Diane Thom, Darlene (Rod) Fisher, and Dan (Alayna) Terwilliger. Beverly also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, who will carry her love and legacy forward for generations to come.
She is also survived by her siblings: LaVern (Sharon) Thurlow, Cliff (Cindy) Thurlow, Leo (Cindy) Thurlow, Gordon (Elsie) Thurlow, Carl (Leatha) Terwilliger, and Virginia Laing, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who cherished her deeply.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Robert Terwilliger; siblings Bonnie Thurlow, Audrey (Jerry) Simmonds, Judy Thurlow, and Chuck Laing; and by nieces and nephews: Steve Laing, Noel Thurlow, Emily Mills, and Trisha Wheeler.
Her gentle heart, warm smile, and quiet strength will be missed by all who knew her.
