Billie "Bill B. Gustus

1943 - 2025

Attica - Billie “Bill” B. Gustus, 82, Attica, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, with his niece by his side.
    Bill was born at home in Riverside, Indiana on September 14, 1943.  He was the son of the late Donald O. “Doc” and Wilma V. (Hysong) Gustus.  
He had been residing at American Senior Communities in Williamsport.  He enjoyed taking rides and watching Purdue sports and Indianapolis Colts football.
    Bill formerly worked at Purdue University and retired from Klondike Schools in West Lafayette in 2015.
    Bill married Linda Lou Grimes in Attica, Indiana on May 1, 1981, She preceded him in death on January 10, 2016.
    Bill leaves behind a son, Bobbie Gustus, West Lafayette; two daughters, Bridget (John Goodman) Gustus, West Lafayette and Bellamy (Ed Haran) Gustus, Brookston, IN; a special friend, Jody Carver, Attica; a niece, Lori Henry, Attica; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bryan Gustus; a brother, Donald “Donnie” O. Gustus, Jr.; two sisters, Shirley Reish and Jeannie Gustus Toabe; along with his wife, Linda.
    Cremation services were accorded Bill and no formal service will be held.
