Not sure what to say?

Bill you will be missed. You had a crazy sense of humor and always great to be around. Hanging in your basement was always a laugh except the time your crazy dog Panda bit my leg when we were skipping school, that was a hard one to explain. My friend Dave Marks couldn't of described you any better. Wish we could of gotten together one more time. I will always love my time hanging out with our crazy West Medford crew, Bill was always there for a good time.
Love you my old friend

Thinking about Billy brings back great memories the park the woods, his trailer concerts, etc. his laughter was contagious. talked to Billy last summer. It was great to connect. I wish we had another day to relive old times!

Billy's Obituary

Billy M. Farrell – Of Medford, passed away with his siblings by his side on Monday, February 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 61 years old. Born in Somerville, he was the beloved son of the late William T. and Lois (Clark) Farrell. Billy was a generous and loyal man who would give anything to anyone. He always made sure the people around him had whatever they needed and often even what they wanted. His kind and selfless nature shined brightest in his role as an uncle. Though he did not have children of his own, his nieces and nephews were his world. He loved each of them deeply and had a special way of making every one of them feel like they were his favorite. Billy loved all things sports, but football was his true passion. He knew the latest statistics, players, and team updates inside and out. If you ever needed information about a team or a game, Billy was the one to ask. He was a walking encyclopedia when it came to football. Known as the life of the party, Billy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. From the moment someone walked through the door, he would greet them warmly and make them feel right at home. His laughter, energy, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Beloved brother of Maureen Jenkins and her long time companion Jeff Kaplan, Denise Farrell-Sanseverino of Medford, and Timothy Farrell and his wife Penny of Malden. Devoted uncle of Krystal Koch, Kayla and Danny Milch, Marco, Gian-Paul, Isabella and Matteo Sanseverino, and Jessica Farrell. Cherished great uncle to 4 nephews and 1 niece. Also survived by many loving friends and extended family members. Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Thursday, February 26 from 8:30AM to 9:30AM. Followed by a funeral mass in St. Raphael Church 512 High St, Medford at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
