Billy J. Morehead, 71, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1954, to the late T.J. and Anna Mae Morehead. Billy was a 1972 graduate of Webster County High School. He was a material handler with Eaton Axle/Dana Corporation for 40 years. Billy enjoyed NASCAR and UK Basketball and grilling out with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Stinnett (Jack); his sister-in-law, Coy Owen (Darrel); and one nephew, Jeremy Justice.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Bethene O’Nan Morehead; his brother-in-law, David O’Nan and his wife, Gayle, of Henderson, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Amy Lawson (Shannon) of Robards, Kentucky, Richard Justice (Ashley) of Spottsville, Kentucky, Kristen Hensley (Joe) of Henderson, Kentucky, Taylor Curry (Nick) of Dixon, Kentucky, Jacob O’Nan (Nicole) of Evansville, Indiana, Quinton Justice (Jessica) of Evansville, Indiana, Jordan Justice of Spottsville, Kentucky, Eli Justice of Spottsville, Kentucky, Maize Curry of Dixon, Kentucky, Elise Curry of Dixon, Kentucky, and Riley Justice of Evansville, Indiana; and many cousins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
A private family service and burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
