Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Central Baptist Church in Burkburnett, with Reverend Duane Perkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Don was born June 8, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Billy Mullins and the late Retha Mullins. Don married Paula Tigrett in 1981 and together raised their four children. He attended Burkburnett High School and afterwards started his career in auto paint and body. This included teaching auto body at Burkburnett High School and later owning and operating body shops in Burkburnett and Apache, Oklahoma. He later worked at Pruitt Ford in Burkburnett as the detail manager until his recent retirement.
Since he was a child, Don had a passion for the outdoors and spent all the time he could camping, hunting and fishing. Some of his favorite memories were fishing trips with family and friends. From catching big bass in the pond behind their home with his little brother when they were young, to fishing trips in Oklahoma as an adult with his grandson or his brothers. Each story put a smile on his face every time he told it. He has a huge family and loved the family gatherings where he could test out his latest joke or hone his debating skills.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Retha Mullins. He is survived by his father, Billy Mullins of Burkburnett; his wife, Paula of Elgin, Oklahoma; sons, Marty Mullins and wife Lori, and Cody Cramer of Burkburnett; daughters, Tanya Presta of Denver, Colorado and Trinity Hilliary and husband Eddie of Elgin, Oklahoma; brothers, Timothy Mullins and wife Lana of Burkburnett, and Terry Mullins and wife Adriana of Olathe, Kansas; sister, Kathy Satterfield and husband Michael of Burkburnett; ten grandchildren, Sara Claiborn, Brittany Kish, Brennan Mullins, Brooke Mullins, Cleary Cramer, Trista Cramer, Christian Hilliary, Riley Hilliary, Jordan Ramyke and Audrey-Megan Presta; and ten great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
