We are so sorry for the huge loss of Billy Jr., Glenn and Jean in your family. Thinking of you all! I just learned of their passing while visiting Walls Cemetery yesterday. I had visited Ruth ,Oakie and Luna's final resting place last fall. I'm sorry we didn't know of Aunt Ruth's or Billy's passing. Think of the family often. I ran into Ronnie at Burger King in Abingdon a few summers ago sometime after visiting he and Aunt Ruth and Glenn in Marion. He told me Aunt Ruth had moved to Chilhowie...

Very sad to hear of Billy passing he was a good friend and buddy I worked with him on second shift and we would spend our breaks talking about things I knew he was a good family man because he already mention his wife and daughters and the rest of his family members it is going to be lonely around here at night without talking or seeing him RIP Billy .

Billy Whitt Jr., age 52 passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home in Chilhowie, VA.
Billy was born on February 17, 1970 to Billy and Dorothy Whitt in Arlington, VA and raised in Smyth County Virginia. He was a dedicated outdoorsman, animal lover, and devoted father and husband. He loved the simple things in life, like sitting on the porch and driving around backroads.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Miller and Joshua and Mattie Kate Crabtree.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife Sheila, daughters Autumn and Clara Whitt, brother, Waylon Whitt, sister, Jennifer Whitt and many other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held privately.
