Bishop Aaron E. Woods, age 95, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on February 10, 2026. A faithful servant, devoted leader, and pillar in the community, Bishop Woods dedicated his life to ministry, service, and uplifting God’s people. His legacy of faith, wisdom, and unwavering commitment will continue to inspire generations to come.

Homegoing services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Greater New Birth Church, 8237 W. Silver Spring Drive.Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00 PM.
