Not sure what to say?

In memory of a Father

Always present in my mind
And in your prayers
Faith is rooted in belief
Yours's never floundered
Encouragement though distant
Accompanied me each day
Thoughts of your Love
Radiated my Hope
To this understanding
Your example back then
Strengthens my will with yours
Shedding baggage I put upon myself
Listening to your advice so Holy
Coming to our reunion by all God’s
blessings

God bless you Bishop Tom. Unfortunately I am now just finding out that you passed away. Your were wonderful priest and a family friend at St. Brigids in San Antonio. Thank you for presiding over my Erins and my wedding. You will be missed!

Bishop Tom was a huge part of our religious life for 45 years, he consoled us when we buried our son in 1974, baptized our youngest daughter, first communion and confirmation for both daughters, baptism for 3 grandchildren, and a constant faith giver when we needed it. We will remember Bishop Tom as one of the most wonderful human beings we've ever known.
Rest well dear friend.

Bishop Flanagan was my Pastor, Spiritual Director and a wonderful friend. After I had a personal encounter with Jesus, Father Tom guided me and encouraged me to follow Him and to continue my service to Our Lord and His Church. He was truly a man of God who fought for my soul and opened my heart to God. Our many spiritual journeys together allowed me to consecrate my life to God. I love you, Father Tom, and I ask that you continue to pray for me to accomplish the spiritual mission to which...
