Blake's Obituary

Blake Michael Bromberek

February 9, 1998- December 29, 2025

Blake Michael Bromberek passed away suddenly on December 29, 2025, at the age of 27. Blake will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents Beau Bromberek and Kimberly Bromberek and their significant others Mary Ellen Gorski and Joseph Blazevich who loved him beyond measure. Blake was a devoted and cherished brother to his loving, wonderful sisters, Bella, Boe, and Brayah, who brought him so much joy and laughter.

He was dearly loved by his grandparents Karen Etzkorn, Ed Lotito, Me Maw Elly Bromberek and Pe Paw Larry Bromberek, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Blake shared close bonds with his aunts and uncles including Joe Etzkorn (Ruth), Casey Bromberek, Nikki (Brian) Konow, Jason (Hannah) Etzkorn and Elliott (Ashley) Etzkorn.

Blake was a proud and loving cousin to Jake, Eric, Zach, Tyler, John, Erica, Brianna, Samantha, Brian Jr., Collin, Cammeron, Amaya, Kasen, Cru, Connor, Logan, and Adalyn, along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him deeply and will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Blake was a Christian, and he was welcomed into heaven by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and those who went before him and now hold him close: his great grandparents Bob and Mary Gorski, Lucille Bromberek, and Thelma Etzkorn; his beloved Papa James Etzkorn; his aunts Elaine Slayton and Carol Gorski; his uncle Michael Etzkorn and his cousin Brandt Wicke.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Blake’s love, light and gentle spirit will live on through the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 Illinois St., Lemont, IL 60439.
