To Mr. Carvatt’s family, I’m so sorry to hear this! He was one of the hardest working men I’ve ever know! I’ve bought so many peaches from him. We would stop by every weekend in the summer on the way to SML. After not going there any longer, we drove up to Gretna from North Carolina to get peaches from him. He called me “Molly” McGee. That’s how he remembered my name. Hold on to all the precious memories, I know I will. Bob, Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Bob. He was such a wonderful friend to me. I loved visiting his porch and purchasing all of those delicious vegetables and fruits that he would have for so many years. We had many conversations over the years. He was a caring, giving and wonderful person. I will really miss him. I can only hope that his pain and suffering is over. My heart goes out to his family whom he dearly loved especially Emily.
