Bob Wesley Gohr, 95, of Menan, Idaho passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Idaho Falls, Idaho at East Idaho Reginal Medical Center.
Bob was born on August 17, 1929, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the son of Herman David Paul Gohr and Nellie may Meyer Gohr. He attended St. Leon School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. He was known for his singing and telling stories while he was a kid and time serving in the Army.
Bob married Bertha Ann Wilson in Rigby, Idaho on October 21, 1955. They lived on the family farm, raising their family and making memories. He had the opportunity to work for several employers over a lifetime. L.A. Hartert in Menan, fuel delivery for Petrolane, and at Idahoan Foods in Lewisville, Idaho. With Bertha, Bob traveled and spent his winters in Quartzite, Arizona.
Bob is survived by his wife, Bertha Gohr of Menan, Idaho. Daughters, Linda Marler of Ammon, Idaho and Karen (Mark) Flick of Bancroft, Idaho. A son, James Gohr of Menan, Idaho. A brother, Herman Gohr Jr. of Notus, Idaho. He had ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Two sons, David and Robert Gohr, Four brothers and eight sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the Menan Community Hall 659 North 3550 East Menan, Idaho. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
