Bobby's Obituaries
Mr. Bobby Ray Byrd, age 37, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017. Bobby was born May 10, 1980 in Wilkes County to James Walter and Kathy Lyon Byrd, Jr.
Mr. Byrd was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church, a graduate of East Wilkes High School and an employee of Blue Ridge Plumbing Supply.
Survivors include: his parents, Jim Byrd, Jr. and Kathy Lyon Byrd of Ronda; one sister, Kim Byrd Foster and husband Barry of Louisville, KY; two foster sisters, Tammy Shepherd Vestal of Boonville and Sandy Shepherd of Sparta; one nephew, Joseph Daniel Holbrook; two nieces, Brytanie Holbrook and Tiffany Vestal; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for will be conducted Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Gwyn Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverwood Assisted Living PO Box 468, Dobson, NC 27017.
