Bobby Hershel Halley

Bobby Hershel Halley, 80, of Keith, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

Bobby was born December 23, 1944, in Bryan, Texas, the first child of Harry H. and Esta Merle Dudley Halley, Jr.  He graduated from Iola High School in 1963 and shortly after married his high school sweetheart Nell Rose Jones.

After working several different jobs in Houston and the surrounding area, he and Nell Rose move to New Caney.  There he started his own Overhead Door Co.  In the 80’s they moved back to their place in Keith and continued his Overhead Door Co business as well as carpenter work before retiring.  After his retirement some of his favorite past times were watching old westerns and sitting outside enjoying nature.  Most of all though he loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them.

Survivors include his wife Nell Rose Halley, His children Bobby G Halley and wife Darla, His daughter Christina Riojas, His grandchildren Rebecca Halley Kimich and her husband Walter Kimich,Logan Halley and his fiance Amanda Stevens,Paige Riojas and her partner Vanessa Garcia and Dylan Riojas, Great grandchildren Halley and Walter Hayes Kimich.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Keith following cremation.
