Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Captain Measles passing. He was one of my favorites to fly with out of Houston. He teased me years later for "Crossing Over to the Darkside" when I went into the office at DFW. RIP Captain.

Growing up on neighboring farms remember Bobby and the Measles family fondly. I'm fairly certain my Dad taught Bobby to fly in Plainview. Condolences to the family and prayers.

I would like to express my condolences to the Measles family. I am praying for all of you. Bob was always a great blessing to be around. I enjoyed every conversation we ever had. He always encouraged me by being upbeat and ended every phone call with "have a good day!". Bob will be deeply missed.

A great friend and neighbor. He came over many times to see me work in the yard and to tell me he approved of my work. A down to earth type of guy. He will be missed.

I was a new hire pilot based in Dallas when I flew with Bobby on the 727. He was an "old school" Captain that took care of his crew and made the job fun. He was an absolute joy to fly with. After retiring with 32 years at Delta, I can still recall with vivid detail stories about flying with Bobby!! He was kind, generous, and gave me a great example on how to be a Captain. I tried my best to emulate him. My condolences to his family....Jim Zilly

With my sincere condolences to his family
I could write a book about how much fun it was to fly with Bobby Measles. Bobby didn’t just enjoy the job, he celebrated it. He brought a zest for life and a joy of flying with him wherever he went. He was one of the genuine good guys, and his laughter made the sun shine a little brighter. I am lucky to have shared a cockpit with him. And I am sure he is in Heaven now, polishing up some pranks to play on the new arrivals. Hopefully, some...

When I found out that Bobby had moved back to the Houston area, I went and visited he and Bernita at their retirement home here in The Woodlands. I had a very nice visit with Bernita until Bobby returned from his dental visit. Bobby was very concerned about Bernita and it was very enjoyable to visit with Bobby. He still had that very special twinkle in his eyes and seemed to be very content with where he was living. I flew with him many times and always enjoyed those trips.

Bob was always a joy to fly with. He will be missed for sure.
