Leroy Bobby Joe Varney, 69, of Huddy, KY, passed away on December 23, 2025, at his residence in Georgetown, KY. Bobby Joe was born July 14, 1956, at High Wycombe, England, the son of the late William "Bob" Varney and Brenda O'Hanlon Varney. Bobby is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe B. and Brooksy Varney and maternal grandparents, Charles and Victoria O'Hanlon. Bobby was a conductor for Norfork and Southern Railroad and a member of the McAndrews Church of Christ. Bobby is survived by his wife, Kathy Varney, his children, Benjamin Charles (Kristin) Varney, Brittany Michelle (Chris) Adkins, and Kerbi Suzette (Ryan) Meade. Bobby is also survived by his stepmother, Danetta Varney, his grandchildren, Camber (Joe) Harris, Daxon Adkins, Asher Adkins, Kendall Meade, Conner Meade, Owen Meade, and Colista Quin Adkins and his first great grandbaby on the way, Ella Claire McCullough and a host of loving family and friends. The funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday December 27, 2025, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Dennis Wolford and Chris Adkins officiating. The burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with Chris Adkins, Ryan Meade, Dave Henderson, Charlie Broderick, Daxon Adkins, Asher Adkins, Conner Meade and Owen Meade serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Heath. The visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Friday December 26, 2025, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 PM. R. E.
