Bonnie Sue Melson

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Melson (nee: Dorrance), born on November 11, 196l, in San Bernadino, CA, to the late Joaquin and Barbara (nee: Justice) Dorrance, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 63 years. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be missed by her family.

Bonnie was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She found great joy in her role as mother and grandmother. Bonnie created beautiful and lasting memories through her warmth, love, and kindness to her grandchildren, family, and friends. The imprint of her love will continue to resonate within them, serving as a testament to a life well lived.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Steven Melson; two children, Robert Melson (Lynn) and Andrew Melson; five grandchildren, Kaiden, Silas, Nia, Averlyn, Kira; one sister, Wanda Delgadillo; and one brother, Kenny Dorrance; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin Dorrance and Barbara Whittaker; and her stepfather, Lynn Whittaker.

The visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, MO. The visitation will be from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM. The burial for Bonnie will be Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis at 10:15 AM.
