Brandon Philip LaTour, 36, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday March 1, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis, to Susie (Steele) Strong and Robert A. Shelton on March 8, 1985. His beloved parents were David A. LaTour and Susie (Steele) Strong, then Danny J. Strong following the death of his father. He graduated from Franklin Central High School in 2003. He attended Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. He was employed as a Mortgage Loan Closer. Brandon was a loving Christian. He grew up attending Park Avenue Church of Christ and Indian Creek Christian Church. While attending Franklin Central High School he met his high school sweetheart Savannah (Williams) LaTour. They were happily married on July 2, 2010, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Family meant everything to Brandon. You could always count on him to show up and be there when you needed him. His presence and smile would light up the entire room. He was the life of every event and he never failed to make everyone laugh and smile. Brandon was so special and will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. He will be missed and survived by his wife, Savannah LaTour; mom and dad, Susie and Danny Strong; one brother, D.J. (Ashton) Strong; biological dad, Robert Shelton; three half-siblings, Sara, Eric and Emily Shelton. As well as nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, in-laws, cousins, family and friends. Brandon is preceded in death by his father, David LaTour; sister Kandice (LaTour) Leggins; and grandparents, Tom and Peggy Steele and Virginia Strong. A memorial service for Brandon will be held on Sunday, March 6 at 2:00 PM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Franklin Township Chapel, with gathering at the chapel from 1:00 pm until time of service.
