The family welcomes friends and loved ones to visit and pay final respects from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Brenda was born on October 14, 1949 in Brownsville, Illinois to the late Junior Ray and Ruby (Lee) Ervin. Brenda loved her children and grandchildren, and was extremely proud of her Cherokee heritage. She loved spoiling her little dog “Tooter”, but most of all, she enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, nana, and grandma. Her greatest joy was her family, her love will remain the beautiful thread that keeps them forever connected. Brenda's warmth, kindness and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Shirley, Bill, Ted, and Terry.
Brenda is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years Tommy; son Tommy Lee Ashton II and wife Anna; daughter Christy Moulton and husband Phillip; and her cherished grandchildren Kayleigh and fiancée Zackary, Elaina, Ethan, and Alex, who were each the light of her life; beloved sister Jeannie Kyle and husband Troy; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews: and her precious little companion Tooter.
