Not sure what to say?

Man, I have to just start out and say Brian was one of a kind! He was cool, confident, funny (hilarious really), athletic, smart, and an all around great friend. I first met him at RPI as freshman and he really made that transition from high school to college a great one for me. Immediately when we met each other we connected. From having classes together (often partnering on projects), to going to the gym together or out to All Sports pub, we shared a lot of great times together. He...

Dearest Martellsour hearts are deeply grieved over the loss of your beloved "Hart" & Mila's beloved daddy. Such an amazing life force—there will be no filling in the galaxy-sized hole Brian's passing has left in your lives & our community. Rich & Lezlie Torkelson

So sorry to hear about Brian's passing. Brian had a bigger then life personality with a million dollar smile. I still remember the day Brian visited me at the race track (Jim Dandy Bar) to tell me about the creation of Druthers. What a vision the Martell's had... I taught Brian in PE at Saratoga Catholic and he made those PE classes fun. Brian was a solid hooper and I think I was 1-8 in our games of horse in PE class. Brian was a friend to all and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are...

Natasa, I was incredibly sad to hear about Brian and while I didn’t know him well, I do remember my last conversation with him on your Florida visit. I know you are incredibly strong and will get through this difficult time. May he rest in peace!

I am very sad to learn about Brians passing. I remember his passion for starting a new chapter with the Martell Brothers Brewing Company. I helped him and Chris in designing the compact yet versatile kitchen for their kitchen and brewing spaces while working for Saratoga Restaurant Equipment Sales. I was tickled when they changed the name to Druthers. They were a success right out of the gate with Brians chef and people skills and Chris' management of the financial end of things. I am...

Condolences to the entire Martell family. Brian was such a great guy. Big heart and always had a smile. He will be missed.

My condolences to family.
From a old friend and coworker of Rick
