Not sure what to say?

Brian was a friend and a Sigma Chi fraternity brother from our days at Marquette University. He was a person whose warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

One of the most memorable times we shared was in New Orleans for the 2003 Final Four. Although Marquette lost to Kansas in a tough game, the fun and camaraderie we experienced far outshined the outcome. The excitement of the tournament, the vibrant energy of the city, and...

His Great spirit will be missed.

Brian had a big personality and I laughed a lot being around him on the few occasions that I got to spend with him. I was jealous of his Kentucky Colonel status and couldn’t wait to tell him when I became one too!

My deepest condolences to the entire family and all the people who were close to him.

Heartbreaking to hear about the loss of Brian. Thinking back on 30+ years of laughs, smiles, jokes, zeal for life, hot sport takes and always a special warmth for his extended family even through adversity. This was a life to be celebrated and remembered.

Thoughts and sympathies for Susie and the kids

I was so lucky to work with Brian as his partner in Michigan for a few years at Takeda in the early 2000s. I have never laughed so much as when I worked with him. You never knew what new adventure or crazy idea each new day would bring. He never had a bad day, was always looking for ways to make people laugh and smile and enjoy their work. Brian had so much zest for life and for the people he called friends. He saw the best in everyone. He loved his wife and family fiercely. I missed...

So sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers How was really a special guy.

What an absolute delight it was being Brian's Dean at OPRFHS! Brian made life joyful for everyone...and he knew how to make use of a bright sunny spring day after lunch as he headed out to Columbus Park to play golf instead of heading to his 7th period class. Good choice!! What a gift he was. I can still hear his warm laughter....He will be missed!

Brian was definitely a person you don’t forget he loved entertaining everyone and making them laugh. I know he will be missed by all.

I always remember Brian’s smile. No matter what he faced he kept that great positive attitude.

I am so very sorry about his passing. My deepest sympathies to you, Susie, and the family.
