Brian Keith Pritchett passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 3, 2025, while on a trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, surrounded by his beloved wife and dear friends.
Born on May 10, 1960, to Isaac “Ike” Pritchett and Jacqueline Culver Pritchett in Henderson County, Brian called Henderson home for his entire life. He was baptized at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Smith Mills, where his lifelong faith first took root and continued to guide him throughout his years. He became a devoted member of Henderson’s First Baptist Church, where his faith continued to grow.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Brian spent his career at Pritchett Farms, Southern Indiana Tire, and Purcell Tire before becoming a proud owner of Best One Tire in both Henderson and Evansville. He also devoted his time to serving his community through the Henderson County Water District Board and as a volunteer with the Good Faith Jail Ministry. Among his many accomplishments, Brian was also one of the founding members of the Little Dixie Boys- a local gospel group. Outside of work and service, Brian found joy in playing golf, visiting Keeneland, cheering on Kentucky sports, and, above all, spending time with his family and friends. He was a Kentucky Colonel.
On April 20, 1984, Brian married the love of his life, Sandy Lee Greer. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and love. They raised three children — Joshua, Jacob, and Jessica — and passed on to them the values of devotion, laughter, and compassion that defined their home.
Brian took immense pride in his growing family. Joshua and his wife, Laura, blessed him with four grandchildren: Emma, Aiden, Asher, and Isla. Jacob and his wife, Felicia, gave him three more: Paisley, Reid, and Noah. Jessica and her husband, Patrick, completed the circle with two children, Hudson and Cate. To his grandchildren, Brian was more than “B” — he was their hero, their storyteller, and their biggest fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy; his children and grandchildren; and his siblings — sister, Vickie Wade (Mark); brother, Bruce Pritchett (Jacqulyn); and sister, Karla Church (Mike). He is also survived by his cherished aunt, Mary Edith Pritchett, and a host of extended family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 2:00–6:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 AM, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Sam Hinkson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hudson Beaven, Aiden Pritchett, Johnny Jones, Michael Church, Mike Thomas, Bruce Pritchett, Steve Pritchett, Mark Wade, Jeff Francis, and Craig Morphett.
Honorary Pallbearers are Darrell Powell, Al Pritchett, Greg Pritchett, Rick Stanley, and Brad Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Henderson’s First Baptist Church “Next Initiative” to support the church’s continued growth (307 Center Street, Henderson, KY 42420), or to the Henderson Boys and Girls Club (735 N. Elm Street, Henderson, KY 42420).
Brian’s life was one of faith, love, and service — a man who gave his best to his family, his friends, and his community. His smile, laughter, and steady presence will be missed beyond measure but remembered always.
