Not sure what to say?

He served as the Deputy DCM @ Dyess with Rodney Weeks. I worked on the staff and got to interact often with then Col Pasini. He was a great leader and had a very good sense of humor. RIP ole SAC warrior we have the watch from here!

Heartfelt condolences to Dolly and family..
Healing hugs to all. Love Pam Bartter ❤

God bless Ralph. He is great aviator and leader. It was an honor to fly with him in the 668th. Condolences to Dolly and family.

Nearly forty years ago we became backdoor neighbors to the Pasini family while assigned to Wheeler AFB in Hawaii. I was closing my squadron and Ralph selected me to be on his study team at Pacific Command Headquarters. He was a superb mentor and coach as our team crafted an important basing report to Congress. When it came to Air Force concerns he argued fiercely for critical support.
Over the intervening years our careers took us to separate bases across the globe, but our families...

Patriotic Eternal Affection Arrangement

God speed to a great leader and man. It was an honor and a privilege to serve under him at Griffiss AFB, NY. Those days remain in my heart as some of the best of my life. Lord please bless and watch over his wife Dolly and his family. He was such a good and caring man! RIP General!

Long Stem Red Rose Bouquet

A Warrior leader! We were so very fortunate to serve under him at out first operational assignment in the 668th Bomb Squadron, Griffiss AFB, NY. He had an ability to allow an individual to pursue their professional strength and grow in their contribution to the mission. He was a good and decent man!

We were privileged to be stationed with Ralph and Dolly at four different locations: Griffiss AFB, NY; Offutt AFB, NE; Minot AFB, ND; and the Pentagon. He was the single most important and revered mentor in my Air Force career. Ralph Pasini was one of the last of the breed of Real B-52 Cold Warriors, tough on all of us but never tougher than on himself. When the Air Force leadership told us directly to "stop wasting your time on all that nuclear (stuff)," he stood his ground and almost...

Obituary

Brigadier General Ralph's Obituary

Brigadier General Ralph Pasini (US Air Force retired), 79, of Monongahela (Forward Township)  passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Oct 30, 2025.  Born September 30, 1946 in Forward Township, he was the son of Joseph and Marie Bonnell Pasini, Jr.

While Ralph spent 30 years traveling the world, the Jersey Settlement Farm on Sunnyside Hollow Road, Forward Township, was his home. He was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, West Virginia University (BS), Southern Illinois University (MS) and numerous military educational courses.

Ralph was commissioned on Aug 16,1970 as a First Lieutenant. Over the next 25 years, he progressed through the ranks and was promoted to Brigadier General in July of 1995. His accomplishments are too numerous to capture, but some of the highlights include: achieved the status of command pilot with over 3,200 plus hours flying various aircraft, namely the B-52 Stratofortress and the B-1B Lancer; commanded the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota; commanded a 16-nation NATO unit in Kalkar, Germany; and served under the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.

Ralph was a fierce patriot, respected leader, and mentor to countless airmen. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. In retirement, he spent time consulting and farming. His most cherished role was that of “Bubby” (aka grandpa). He loved teaching his grandkids how to ride a tractor and watching their sports and activities. He always gave counsel to them about their future goals because he loved them fiercely.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolly Biro Pasini; son, retired Lt Col Michael (Jennifer) Pasini; daughter, Dolly (Curtis) Pasini Armstrong; son-in-law, Jayme Deibler; six grandchildren, Elise and Wesley Deibler, Morgan and Clara Pasini, Mason and Camden Armstrong; and his sister, Maria Hunt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Nina Pasini Deibler; and his brothers, Leo and Joseph Pasini, III.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 6-8 PM and Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 W.
