To Sharon and family, I am so sorry for the passing of Brooks. My deepest condolences for you and best wishes and memories for the future. As my neighbor of 20+ years Brooks will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Brooks passing. We moved here 8yrs ago and saw him riding his bike every day, we called him the bicycle man. I have since then started walking and met him, he was so friendly and nice, always with a good morning to say. I will miss him terribly! Prayers for the family.

A wonderful neighbor and friend. He and Sharon accepted us from the first day and was always willing to help us out with our part time residence. He will be sorely missed.

We will me you so much Brooks we always looked for you and enjoyed our brief chats. And we just moved up here full time. We are heart broken.

Brooks was one of a kind one of the first people we met when we moved to Blairsville and such a good soul! He inspired us all with his daily biking and walkingwe loved seeing him and talking with him over the years, he will be missed, such a sweet man. RIP Brooks

It seems that everybody in our neighborhood was acquainted with Brooks and I don't think you'd ever find a single person who didn't like him. He was a familiar sight everyday regardless of the weather out riding his bike or walking many miles. His stamina was amazing. So was his friendliness. I am sure going to miss seeing this remarkable old guy because he was a true fixture in our community. I wish I could have gotten to know him better.
