Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. While dealing with my own health issues I was not in contact with him for a few years and did not know that he was ill. Bruce was one of the most talented and gifted people that I have ever known. I was privileged to see his lodge at Gee Creek, enjoy his cabin there with friends, and be in the magnificent home he built near Delano. Bruce was a kind, thoughtful and helpful person, and so much fun. We had some wonderful adventures and dinners...

My favorite memories of Bruce will always be from the 2017 summer and fall that I lived in his home. He taught me to drive a stick-shift, we jumped off the old train bridge into the river, and I heard him talk for hours about the way things work. He was a real renaissance man. Appreciating the property, taking care of Woody and Pinky, and hosting the Gee Creek Wilderness Lodge to guests from all over was one of the greatest adventures I've ever had. The experience made me fall in love with...

Bruce was a creative and inspired soul. He always exhibited that quiet, calm, and thoughtful approach. A good man that made an incredible impact on those he friended. He will be missed, the peaceful presence of Bruce and his kind nature left a beautiful mark on the world. We extend our deepest sympathies. The Crisp and Easterly Families

Bruce’s favorite rapid on his beloved Hiwassee is sometimes called Little Rock Island. For many years it has been known as Bruces Rapid by his many friends. Paddle on old friend. You have touched many souls for the better.

One of the most respectful people I have ever known, Bruce always had a smiling, helpful hand when I needed it. He was an artist in everything he made with a humorous eye for detail. May his character and spirit stay with all of us.

We wish we had the privilege to meet Bruce. What an amazing life he lived. He will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. We look forward to getting to know him better through the stories Russ and Beckey will continue to share with us.
Sending love at this tender time.
