Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Bruce's passing, I remember Bruce from High School. My heart and prayer's are with you.

Linda, Just heard of Bruce's homegoing. So sorry for your loss. You and he were favorites of my Mom. Sorry we haven't been in touch... please let's keep in touch.

Linda, our prayers and sympathy for comfort at the passing of Bruce. We know he is in a better place, but it seems much to early . Share our condolences with your Mom , Dad and siblings.

God Bless,

Terry and Jayne Mulhern

Our prayers for the family run deep; Bruce was a tremendous influence in my life when I needed it most.

Linda, Kyle & Kelly; and immediate family, cousins and friends;

Please accept our condolences from afar for your loss in this realm, and God's gain in his for which we have the hope of same.

Cherished memories shall remain of the visits at Mountain View, a young quest from WI to California through San Jose, resulting in opening up your home to my wayward self and friend. We, too, won't soon forget Kingman, AZ, where we shared family times on holiday occasion.

Bruce was many things to many people. But to me and mine, he'll always be a wonderful friend. Most of our phone conversations started off: "Cavebear calling Great Northern Bear." Since Heaven is in the northern part of the universe according to theologians.....I guess you could say that he is home!

Dear Chase family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our prayers.

In your time of sorrow may the Lord b
less you and your family.

Glen Esswein Woodruff,Wi.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Obituary

Bruce's Obituary

Bruce Chase was born in Dearborn Michigan on June 16th, 1956. And when he was a young boy his family moved to California. Growing up there, he developed a love for sports, especially football, and was a star player on the varsity football team at Cupertino High School. He always enjoyed a hearty discussion about sports, and football in particular. In 1978 Bruce met the love of his life in San Jose: Linda. Bruce and Linda were married September 29th, 1979. After thirty three years of marriage Bruce and Linda were still in love with each other. Bruce and Linda were partners in everything they did and even started a small business together. In 1984 Bruce and Linda had a son, Kyle, and in 1986 their daughter, Kelly was born. Those who knew Bruce know that he constantly bragged about his children and Bruce still referred to Linda as his beautiful bride.Among things that Bruce enjoyed are hunting and fishing and also grilling in the summer. Bruce was always happy to take the time for conversation and considered anyone he talked with to be his friend. He loved to tell stories and jokes. Bruce loved to travel; he was always looking forward to the next trip or vacation. Above all, Bruce loved the Lord. Every morning he read his Bible and also led worship with Linda at church and Bible Study. In 2003 he became a licensed minister through Grace International and over the years he traveled with his best friend and pastor to help preach the gospel and pray for the sick. In December of 2011 Bruce also officiated the wedding of his daughter, Kelly. One verse that Bruce always quoted was, "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8 NASB). Bruce was our loving father, devoted husband and loyal friend; his passing is hard to bear. However, we take comfort in knowing that Bruce is with Jesus in heaven and when God also calls us home, we will see him there. "But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 NASB)Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 2:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
