Mr. Bruce Darrell Harness, age 62 of Cookeville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Cookeville Regional Medical.
Bruce was born on April 14, 1963, in Putnam County, TN to the late James and Phyllis (Herron) Harness. He is survived by his stepmother: Gail Harness; Children & Spouses: Stephanie Harness, Leatrice and Josh Myers, J.D. and Toni Harness, Andrew Harness, Sean Stikes, and Megan Harness. Seven Grandchildren: Tyler Whitcomb, Gracie Taylor, Jericho Harness, Dakota Harness, Hyde Myers, Weston Bivens, and Dakota Bivens.
His Brother: Tracey Harness, and two sisters & brother-in-law: Teresa & Steve Yeager, and Ceresa West.
In addition to Bruce’s parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Oliva Taylor.
Bruce was an avid lover of anything outdoors and a special place in his heart for Volleyball.
