Bruce M. Pittman, 68, died Monday, October 6, 2025. Born in Honolulu, HI, he was raised in California and had been a Hampton resident for the last 30 years. He served his country in the US Navy, and upon discharge started working in construction, learning many trades.
Bruce was very proud of his Native American heritage and practiced many of the traditions of the Piegan Sioux, Cherokee, Shawnee, and Blackfoot Indians. He was a loving, kind family man who was very handy around the house.
Preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Mildred Pittman, and all three of his siblings, Sharon, Lynda, and Mike; survivors include his wife, Kathy Pittman; eleven children, Brett Pittman, Tara Richard (Jeremy), and Tealla Garcia (Billy S.) all of Hampton, Nick Snyder (Cassandra) and Greg Pittman (Kim) all of Washington State, Tanya Hall (Jesse) and Tabatha Wilkinson (David) all of Hampton, Stacie Pickral (Jon) of Midlothian, VA, Cory Garcia of Colorado Springs, CO, Carl Garcia (Stacy) of Montana, and Stephanie Fry. Bruce will also be missed by his twenty-three grandchildren, Alyanna, Jaiden, Elijah, Lucas, Makayla, Sureena, Lilly, Billy, Bella, Payton, Ansley, Huxley, Cody, Katelyn, Haley, Eleanor, Jonathon, Morgan, Damien, Brooklyn, Mathew, Mirah, and Trenton; and great-granddaughter, Emily French.
