Buenaventura Gonzalez

Buenaventura Gonzalez, the beloved spouse of over 50 years to the late Ignacio Gonzalez, joined him in eternal rest on November 1, 2025. Born in Mexico on July 14, 1937, she is preceded in death by her son Jose Ignacio Gonzalez, and her parents Bernardo and Maria Gracia.

Buenaventura leaves behind a loving memory that will continue to live on through her daughter Guadalupe Alvarez, son Gerardo Gonzalez, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and siblings Bernardo Gracia, Raquel Hinojosa, Maria de Jesus Trevino, and Ramona Gracia.

Funeral services have been entrusted to South Houston Funeral Home. On November 6, 2025, the family will welcome mourners into the main chapel from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
