He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Violet Lampman Clements; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Spencer; son and daughter-in-law, Cabell ?Chuck?, Jr. and Sue Clements; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Edith Clements, James and Deanie Clements and Charles and Gayle Clements; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two long-time devoted friends Ronnie and Betty Bryant. Cabell served in the US Navy during WWII on the Destroyer Escort USS Goss. After coming home he worked at E.I. DuPont until he retired January 1985 after 42 years of service. He was a long time member of Second Branch Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon Emeritus. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). His funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Second Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to Second Branch Baptist Church, Building Fund 12217 Second Branch Rd Chesterfield, VA 23838.
