Capt. Ralph Schlichter

My deepest condolences to the family on their loss. I served with Captain Schlichter on the USS Scamp and enjoyed his leadership and service. Extremely fair CO! He will be missed. SEMPER FORTIS captain rest easy we have the watch!

I am getting to know your Susannah’s children Sadie, Jude, and Jack. I celebrate Captain Ralph’s life and your marriage, and I hope to greet you at St. Paul’s again one Sunday.

Capt. Schlichter was my commanding officer/chief of staff at CSG-5 in San Diego from 87-89. He was a great inspiration and mentor. God bless
