Carl Allen

Carl Allen, entered eternal rest at Marrero Health Care Facility on Monday, July 28, 2025. Carl was born on February 12, 1960 to the late William Allen and Rebecca Mae Perry Thomas. Carl was a native and resident of New Orleans, La. He was a former employee of Gavin MacArthur Company, during his earlier years he also was a cook for Camellia Grill. Carl was the husband of the late Betty Smith, Carl leaves to cherish his great memories 1 son Cortez Denton, 1 brother William Allen, 1 sister Andrea Allen, 1 Aunt Evelina Ward, 3 adopted siblings William(Boobie), Micheal, Regina (Tina) Perry, 1 god-daughter Diamond Youngblood. Carl was preceded in death by his Father William Allen, Mother Rebecca Mae Perry Thomas, Stepfather Louis Thomas, Brother Jesse Franklin, 2 Sisters Wilma(Marie) Shields, and Beverly Halley, 1 Nephew Leroy Halley Jr. 1 Neice Oriel Halley Devoted Companion of Cynthia Smith. Carl also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends and family also pastors, officers and members of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, Marrero Health Care Center, Heart of Hospice are invited to attend a Memorial/Repass on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at The Celebration Hall, 1701 St. Bernard Avenue New Orleans, LA 70116, at 12:00 PM (ANY SHADES OF BLUE)
