Carl Joseph DeBlanc was born in Liberty, TX on March 27, 1959 to Leona “Pie” Stelly Barnes and Cal William (C.W.) Bush. He grew up surrounded by loving family in what he called “the woods” in Ames, TX.
He was a loving brother to his two younger siblings, Timothy (Timmy) and Patrick (Pat), who were often trailing close behind him. Growing up, Carl could always be found with his cousin, Rogers Roberts, or Buddy Bean as we all know him. The two were inseparable and often involved in all kinds of mischief.
From a very young age, Carl was a skillful fisherman and loved being outdoors. He was never happier than when he was watching a football game, working on his wordsearch puzzles, or playing dominoes with family. As an adult, he lived all over rarely staying in one spot long and enjoyed meeting new people.
He is predeceased by his father, C.W.; brother, Timothy; grandparents; and many beloved aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother, Leona; brother, Patrick; 3 amazing children who were his pride and joy, Carletha (Presley), Carl, Jr., and Stanley (Britney); 5 grandchildren; his favorite caregiver, Heather Patrice; cousins, Buddy Bean and Carla (whom he affectionately nicknamed Stupid), and a host of other loving family and friends.
