Carl R. Geyer, Sr. 95
of Upper Tyrone Township, passed away at 6 AM Friday, January 2, 2026 in AHN’s Allegheny Hospital, Pittsburgh. Carl was born on July 1, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, one of seven children of the late Grover Cleveland and Nancy Pearl (Ulery) Geyer. He was married to Roberta E. “Bobbie” (Stouffer) Geyer for 72 years and she passed away on March 20, 2025.
Carl was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his loyal pet dog, Gizzmo.
Carl will be sadly missed by his loving family; his six children, Debra Rohm and husband John, Gwen Crowe and husband Kenneth, Robin Pritts, Carl Geyer Jr., Michael Geyer, and Christopher Geyer; his son-in-law, Mark Wingrove; and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Wingrove; his son-in-law, William Pritts; his daughter-in-law, Sheila Geyer; his brothers, John, James, Donald, and Babe; and his sisters, Blanche, Margaret, Betty , and Ruth.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). At the request of the decedent, there will be no viewing or service. Final resting place will be in Stouffer Cemetery.
