Carl's Obituary

Carl Devon Hypolite was born on March 27, 1967, in St. Martinville, Louisiana, to Mr. Clarence Joseph Hypolite, Sr., and Mrs. Juanita Skipper Hypolite. He graduated from St. Martinville High School in 1985. Known as the life of the party, Carl proudly held the title of "Barbecue Master." His favorite football team was the New Orleans Saints. Together with his wife, Quintella, he founded Hypolite Trucking LLC. Carl and Quintella tied the knot in Beaumont, Texas, and enjoyed 27 wonderful years together. Carl and Quintella cherished traveling in their spare time. For over 20 years, he relished playing softball with the teams "Undisputed Truth" and "Joy and Pain."

Carl passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Quintella Hypolite; sons, Damien Hypolite (Rachel) and Anthony Joseph Jr.; daughters, Monique Daniels (Roy) of Beaumont, Texas, and Quinnessa Cormier (Jason) of Silsbee, Texas; sisters, Juanita Mitchell Bernard, Linda Pickney, Judy Bennett (Bobby), Pearl Jones (Wilton), and Wanda Vital (John) from St. Martinville; brothers: Shelby Hypolite (Christina) from Thibodaux, Louisiana, and Clarence Hypolite Jr. and Wilbert Hypolite (Alisha), both from St. Martinville. Additionally, he is survived by his aunt, Julia Mason (Hayman); uncle, Willie Hypolite (Elva); numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and two great-grandchildren.
