Not sure what to say?

My name is Michael Reprogel and I was his roommate for several months and I grew close to Mr Varney. We had some good conversations and I believe he is in a better place now. May God bless him and his loving family.

Mr. Varney was a wonderful teacher and person! I have lots of great memories from his class in high school, the smiley faces with ears he would draw on our papers, and at Christmas time I always think about us making ornaments out of felt every year! He sure left his mark, on many generations of us. He will be missed and always remembered as one of the best teachers any of us ever got the pleasure of having ❤ rest easy Mr. Varney

Mr. Varney was always kind to me when he taught my class in high school.

I always loved Mr. Varney, he always was so excited to see the students , and I always looked forward to seeing his collection of sports cards he’d always bring to school to share & he sure loved talking about them too. Rest in peace Mr. Varney, you have impacted so many in the Wayne County Community
