My dearest Cuzz / Sis, I'm missing your voice, your smile our togetherness, growing up together. The fun and funny time's we shared, we wouldn't talk for a few weeks but when we did we'd catch up. Who am I gonna have now I'm so, so sad .

I met Carla at work, and through the years we became more than co-workerswe became friendsvisited each others homes, went to social gatherings togetherI can truly say that Carla had a friendly disposition, and a free spirit along with a pure heart. She became my friend in a world where Hispanics were misunderstoodI needed that. Thank you Carla! ❤. I will always remember your kindness. You truly have made Treasures in Heaven. (See you in the resurrection, girl!). ❤

I am so sorry to hear of Carla's passing. I offer my sincerest condolences to her family and friends. I will be praying for your renewed strength and healing. Hoping you all find strength with each new day. Carla was a wonderful person. I will always remember how down to earth she was. We met and worked together for many years at DHS. However, I considered Carla more of a friend than a coworker. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to meet and speak with her a week before her passing. I...
