Carlos's Obituary

Carlos Bejarano, Jr., 75, of Mesquite, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on November 11, 2023.  Carlos was a Christmas baby, born on December 25, 1947, in Harlingen, Texas, to parents Carlos Bejarano, Sr. and Nieves Gasnares (Vega) Bejarano.

On October 31, 1970, Carlos married Ninfa Alvarado in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico.  Carlos served his country in the United States Army.  Upon his return to his family, he worked for Southwestern Bell for many years and retired as an instructor.

Carlos was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed riding his Harley and hobbies such as trains, airplanes, helicopters, and classic cars.  He had a deep appreciation for music, playing his guitar and singing.

Carlos was a devoted husband and loved his wife and children deeply.  He was incredibly proud to become a Grandpa and played the part well.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Ninfa of Mesquite; one daughter, Nancy B. Stromberg and son-in-law, Richard Stromberg of Dallas; one son, Carlos A. Bejarano, III, and daughter-in-law, Brandy Bejarano, both of Krum; two sisters, Noema Gonzalez and Janie Herrera, both of Houston.  Additionally surviving him are seven grandchildren, Grace Stromberg, Julia Stromberg, Hailee Rodriguez, Hannah Rodriguez, Carlos Aidan Bejarano, IV, and twins Landon and Logan Bejarano, along with two great-grandchildren, Amberlin Cenni and Evalynn Hintze, and one on the way.  We can’t leave out his faithful canine companion, Tyson.

A visitation for Mr. Bejarano is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Iglesia Reino de Dios Church in Sanger, Texas.  A private interment will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
