I have know Carol since I was born. We were neighbors in Petersville and also in Seemsville.
Carol was so sweet and kind, and loving. She took care of everyone. Rest in peace my dear friend. Love you.

Carol L. Cesanek, 84, of Wind Gap, passed away peacefully at Walden III Assisted Living, Wind Gap on January 2, 2026. Born in Petersville, PA she was a daughter of the late Leon and Emma (Beers) Becker. She was married to the late Edward R. Cesanek, who passed on November 25, 2023. Carol was employed at Mary’s Fashion, Western Electric, and AT&T. She loved to crochet and was an avid reader. She was a member of Assumption BVM Church, Northampton.
Survivors: sons, Christopher and wife Shirley, Joseph and wife Brenda; daughter Jennifer Ziegler and husband Daniel; 7 grandchildren; a great-grandson, Hudson; sister, Nancy Jane Goldberg; several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Bird and Catherine Frey; brother, Kenneth Becker; and a brother-in-law, Dave Goldberg.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday January 6th at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption BVM Church. Family and friends may call Tuesday, 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be submitted below.
