What a wonderful friend for over 60 years. She was like a member of our family. She will be missed by so many. Her smile would light up a room. She was truly our blessing from God. Our deepest condolences to the entire family. We will miss our many talks and visits.

Mrs. Carol Jean Jaeger (nee: Orf) of Dardenne Prairie, MO passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1941, in Dardenne Prairie to the late Gregory and Mathilda (nee: Ostmann) Orf. Carol had reached the age of 83.
Carol was united in marriage to Kenneth Ivan Jaeger in June of 1960. They spent 39 wonderful years together before his passing in January of 1999. This union was blessed with four children, John, Jeffrey, Lucia, and Gregory. Carol was a Co-Founder of the "Quilts of Valor", servicing Eastern Missouri. She worked tirelessly for over 20 years and provided over 4000 quilts to wounded veterans. She enjoyed watching a variety of sporting events including, Nascar, Football and Baseball. Her greatest joy came from her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, holidays and special events and spending as much time with each of her children and grandchildren as she could.
Carol Jaeger was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth; her parents, Gregory and Mathilda; one son, John Jaeger. Surviving family members include, her children, Jeffery Jaeger and wife Jami, Lucia Roberts and Gregory Jaeger; 8 grandchildren, Christopher Jaeger and wife Brooke, Joshua Jaeger and wife Lauren, Cameron Jaeger, Kenneth Jaeger, Emma Jaeger, Jessica Roberts, Ashley Jaeger and William Jaeger; 6 great grandchildren, Miles, Gianni, Aayden, Huntleigh, and Murphy; one sister, Jane Dubis and one brother, Brian Orf; other relatives and many friends.
A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Carol Jean Jaeger will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church 19127 Mill Road, Marthasville, MO. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will follow 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM at the St. Ignatius Gym. The family will then go in procession to Emmanuel United Church of Christ (UCC) Cemetery, 6210 MO-94, Weldon Spring, MO 63304 for committal services at 2:00 PM. All donations are suggested to Quilts of Valor Eastern Missouri in Honor of Carol Jean Jaeger. Online condolences may be given at martinfuneral.net.
