Carol was a wonderful person. she always had a smile for everyone. The most important thing is she was a find Christian lady, and now has a brand new home in Heaven, where there will be no more suffering for her. We will miss her and be praying for the family.

Carol Jean Singleton, 71, of Eubank, Ky, passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on August 8, 2018.Carol was born on February 20, 1947. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and she retired from Bluegrass Oakwood. Carol was a faithful member of the Singletontown First Church of God where she served in many roles throughout her 50 years as a member. Carol loved her family unconditionally. She was always smiling and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved to sing, paint, crochet, read, and work jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Loyal Steven Singleton, Eubank, KY; her children: Jeffrey (and Wanda) Singleton, Eubank, Robin (and Delmer) Wilson, Eubank, Kevin Singleton, Winchester, KY, and Aaron (and Ashley) Singleton, Science Hill, Ky. She is survived by her grandchildren: Steven (and Brandy) Eldridge, Tiffany (and Nathan) Rogers, Jacob Singleton, Laura Wilson, Adrian Singleton, Jared Singleton, and Hailey Singleton. She is survived by 4 great-grandchildren: Abbie and Alex Rogers, and Kayzlee and Kallum Eldridge. She leaves behind 3 sisters, Susan (and Billy) Lane, Junction City, Ky, Marty (and Homer) Tankersly, Stanford, Ky, and Jamie (and Jimmy) Adams, Broughtontown, Ky. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Magdalene Kidd Calton.A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Harness officiating.Burial will be in the Singleton Cemetery.Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral HomeIn lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Carol Jean Singleton Memorial Fund.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
